I haven't heard a word back on my CHRO complaint about the Connecticut Office of the Arts processes at all.
So I sent the following response back to all of them:
"To date I have received absolutely no correspondence in relation to this complaint.
I'm assuming this is either the result of the death of the attorney handling the case for the COA, the malfeasance of a DEI hired attorney for the COA, or blatant contempt for the complaint itself.Since the delivery of the initial service documents the COA has essentially partnered with the Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE), a firm that advertises one of its services as "3. Legal and Compliance ShieldingI cannot read this behavior as anything less than a "fuck you" to CHRO, the federal adminstration of the arts, and as a by-product, this complaint. Also in the duration of between our last correspondence, CT's Attorney General has declared that any MAGA supporters should be disqualified from exercising their political rights. If that is the case, and the CHRO no longer represents MAGA affiliated complaintants then it's imperative that be notified epeditiously.
I only respond here because the COA once again has advertised that CT based artists can submit work for two upcoming Public arts projects and I have yet to see any attempt on the part of the COA to reform their bigoted process of selection.Thank you for your attention to this matter."
